Hilton Garden Inn Bend

I phoned when our party arrived in town, understandable the room wasn't ready 1 hr early. However, I was assured it would be ready on time in accordance with check-in policy. It was not, making it difficult to be on time for our engagements. One young woman at the desk was less than kind and attentive. There was no discussion of amenities, hours of gym, pool, whether or not breakfast was available and what time. The app never alerted me the room was finally ready and I had to inquire again then wait further for keys. Furthermore, despite the extended wait, our room was not cleaned properly there was garbage on the entry table and floor in upper bedroom left by the previous patrons, no hand soap, very little toilet paper. I had to ask housekeeping in the hallway for both. It was a chilly sleep with very thin linens however pillows were nice. Don't think we'll return our next stay. Nearly 500 spent for a sub-par room. Being very close to the venue was the only up side to this stay.

Love this hotel! This was our 2nd time staying here and will always be our go to hotel when we stay in Bend. We got the 1 bedroom suite this time, private balcony, great space. Rooms are always clean and beds were comfy. Our room was available on time, used contactless key and the staff was very friendly and always smiled and greeted us when we came in. Walking distance to the river and shops. Definitely a good hotel to choose.

We stayed here as a family overnight on the way to the coast. The bi-level suite was very nice, and worked perfectly for a family with two kids. The old mill district is within walking distance, where you can get some really good food, so the location can't be beat. The staff was very friendly, however, for some unknowable reason, it was impossible to get body wash for the shower. We booked 2 overnight stays, one week apart, and both rooms (different room numbers) had zero shower gel. I couldn't even get the staff to fill it either (they agreed to both times, but did not follow through) so something weird was going on. However, at the end of the day, bodywash is such a small issue that I don't think it is worth deducting a star. I will be staying here again, and will bring my own wash, lol.

We had an amazing date night here. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Will definitely be back. The pool/hot tub being open 24 hrs was a great surprise also. The bartender showed my husband his new favorite drink. The closeness to the movies was a pleasant surprise also. Room was nice and so quiet. The view was beautiful. So worth the money.
